Although the monkeys was claimed as a friendly monkey, but there are several rules that you must know and follow if you visit the Ubud monkey forest.
  • The forest is open at 8.00 am till 6.00 pm
  • Don't bring any food inside. The monkeys could be aggresive when they see somebody's bring food or eat the food inside. Even if they put the food/snack in their bag. So..I suggest to leave the food in your car.
  • Yes..you can feed the monkey with the food that already prepared by monkey forest management. I suggest you to ask the officer first before you feed the monkey. Can't find the officer?? Just find someone wearing green saroong.
